Donald Terry

Donald Terry's 30 years of teaching and developing useful and innovative educational support programs for Hamilton schools are being recognized this year. And it only took three of his students two years to convince him to agree to a nomination for a Prime Ministerþs Award. This science teacher at Sir John A. MacDonald High School in Hamilton, Ontario has worked to improve science curriculum, developed programs to distribute kits of prepared science labs to elementary schools and train secondary students to act as lab assistants. Finally, he spearheaded an early course in earth sciences.
