National Recipient
Dennison Tate
Dennison Tate is the Head of the Science Department at Harrison Trimble High School in Moncton. Mr. Tate has developed and piloted an advanced physics course which emphasizes learning research techniques, solving difficult problems, and bridging the gap between theory and its application. His students can often be found researching assignments at school by 7:30 am, eating lunch in the physics lab while reading from Mr. Tate's library, and staying late to continue their work. Thanks to his efforts, students are inspired to learn and succeed. Several of Mr. Tate's students have gone on to achieve marks of 92% or better in their university physics courses.
