Sharon Pike teaches mathematics to grade 6 and 7 students, and rotary science to grades 5 through 8 at Bruce Township Central Public School in Tiverton. Her approach is hands-on. It is not uncommon to see her students in the halls testing friction and learning about the principles of flight using paper airplanes. Ms. Pike is a strong supporter of science fairs, and her enthusiasm for science has spread to both students and staff at Bruce Central.
